Abbie School needed engaging materials for events, fundraisers and volunteer initiatives throughout the school year. Each piece needed to capture attention while presenting essential information clearly for busy families viewing it in print or on social media.
-
I created distinct visual identities for individual events while maintaining clear information hierarchy, readable typography and recognizable school branding. I also adapted color and saturation for cost-conscious printing while using more vibrant versions for digital promotion.
-
My experience as both a parent and school volunteer shaped how I approached these communications. I prioritized concise wording, strong visual hierarchy, recognizable imagery and clear calls to action so families could understand important information quickly and confidently.

These materials gave the PTA and school a consistent way to promote activities, recruit volunteers and communicate fundraising opportunities across print and digital channels. They also helped create a welcoming visual presence for families throughout the school year.
Fundraising + Volunteer Outreach
Fundraising and volunteer communications needed to explain not only the event, but also why participation mattered. I organized the information around a clear action—joining, donating, attending, or sharing.
Student & Community Events
Seasonal campaigns used friendly illustrations, concise event details, and prominent calls to action to encourage family participation.
